14th April 2009 :: Huge Easter Queues...

Over the past Easter holiday the park has been reaching full capacity on many dates and this is expected to continue for the rest of the holiday. The park will refuse entry unless tickets are pre-booked if the park becomes full. Queues for many of the ride will exceed 1 hour with most of the coasters being well over 2. Saw has had queues of 3 hours or more so if you want to ride, make sure you arrive early or be prepared to queue!

14th March 2009 :: 2009 Season Begins...

THORPE PARK opened its gates once again today as the start of the 2009 season began. However the opening weekend did not go ahead as planned. Saw - The ride was closed due to a minor issue and a number of other rides also had problems, plus a power cut caused a number of rides to temporarily close. Stealth, Slammer and Loggers Leap are still undergoing winter maintanance and wont be open for at least another week.
